Some things are more important than football—sometimes even your favorite team.

Over the years I’ve faced those moments: holidays that clash with finals, big games I care about, and friends asking for my attention.

In 2019, I even joked at an event: “We have two religions—Judaism and sport—what do we do when they clash?” 

The answer? 

Set boundaries. Prioritize. Stay true to yourself.

Knowing when to put your phone down and focus on what truly matters is the real win.
